It keeps asking me for the cd which is in the drive. I am running the newest dos emulator. AOD runs great. I did delete the opening smk files as previous posts recommended. I am running it in win 95 compatability mode.

Any ideas?

thanks

Are you running DOSBOX?

If that's the case, try this: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=113184

Same thing is happening to me. I posted in a different thread. I am running DOSBOX 7. No matter what I do to the ini path it asks for the cd. Do I have to delete those intro files for it work on DOSBOX? I have tried renaming the files, still no luck. This isn't critical, I do have a 98 box that I use for such just games, but it's fun to tinker and see if I can get it to work. Thanks.

Did you try copying the contents of the /Bud folder from the CD to the HD and adjusting the SHPath.ini? The exact file the copy protection is looking for is 10.Smk and it has to be a specific size or you'll get the errors.

.Ini Entry:
BUD =C:\SILENT\BUD\
