Crazy Russians!

Start a career in the Black Sea in my trusty Type IID boat with the better conning tower with the dual flack. October 1942 I head out to sea. After a few days of sailing my radar detection picked up some signals. I close in and find a convoy. 2 eels in the side of the heavy transport and its gone. I went deep to reload as the destroyers swarm around me. 3 of them driving erraticly almost crashing into each other, throwing depth charges around here and there. THen i find the two tankers in the convoy joining them with their search lights. So i have 3 DD's and 2 tankers circling me. FInally they move on and I attack again a few hours later and hit both tankers. I go deep again and the destroyers again go nuts, PLUS the 2 burning tankers join in on the search as well, circling while their crews fight the fire. FInally one sinks and the convoy goes on its way, zig zagging, almost crashing into each other. Out if eels I head home. On the way a russian plane attacks us. My dual flack eats the poor fool alive and he explodes in mid air! It was beautiful :)

But yeah, the Russians got a crazy convoy system.:hmm:

What base do you use for the Black Sea?

Constanta, on the western edge of the sea. 30th Flotilla. I think you need GWX to play in that campaign. Its fun though. Very deep water too.
