I'm having a battle with a local news channel. Thought I'd let you all in on it.
This is the story that started the issue:
Man apparently shot in broad daylight; gunman at large

The following is my e-mail with the station:
My first message to them is at the bottom.
The headline is designed to evoke an emotional reaction.
We hope the press will act responsibly, but when you don't,
there isn't a lot we can do about it.

We have chosen this headline because a shooting which takes place in broad daylight can be considered a more brazen act than one committed inside a private location or under the cover of darkness.
