Unable to install 1.2

After trying to open the 1.2 patch I am greeted with the "program has encountered and error and must close" error dialoge box. Im not sure what to do or what I did wrong. I uninstalled sh4, deleted all folders, and then installed Sh4. After that I tried to patch 1.2 and it fails. Any ideas?

Patching directly from 1.0 to 1.2 might be causing problems for some
people. I would apply patch 1.1 to a clean install (registry too) and then
apply patch 1.2. If you still get the error, DL the 1.2 again....

How would I clean the registry? (btw I already tried it with 1.1 patch as well as dloading the 1.2 patch twice :(

If you are not familiar with deleting registry files, I would not do that.
They are the basis for all programs linking to windows and deleting the
wrong thing can cause BIG problems in loading windows....

Heh, Ive done it before, got rid of the mouse acceleration to help my aiming in FPSes. I just was thinking too hard I guess. Either way I still wouldnt know what I'm looking for tbh.

I'll Give the patch one more shot.. third times a charm.

Edit: Finally worked.. looks like the 6th time is a charm.
