can you ram ships with the sub?

I hope not. It wouldn't work in real life.

Yes at least in patched vanilla you can give a ship the "last push" when he has heavy flooding, but won't sink.
Doesn't work all the time though.

You could always try ram a ship....Won't be too long before I'll intercept a BB when I have no torpedos or deck gun ammo....shame the one who give in...attack!!!!!!:arrgh!:

You can ram other ships only in the Nautilus :D
