The lousy weather in SH3 got me to thinking about something i was witness to a while back.
So there is a British Airways flight that stopped here in Texas at DFW international airport. and the british airways crew was in a conversation with an AA crew. anyhow this crusty old British Airlways flight attendant got to talking about the weather and how the layover was and she says to one of the AA pilots...
"Oh dear it is soooo dreadfully hot here in this country, I cant understand why people would choose to live here... im sure glad we British gave this aweful place to you Americans!"
and without missing a beat the AA captain says "Hold on there just a second.... every history book I've read says we TOOK it from ya, not that you gave it to us." the whole group of AA and BA pilots burst out laughing...
except for the flight attendant of course who just got up and walked off. :rotfl:
so on a weather related note... is it normal for the weather in and around the Great Island Nation to go to raining relentlessly without sign of change for weeks on weeks at a time?
i can assume thats the case.
