Hi All,
I have been a Silent Hunter series player since the beginning. These games (even the last prematurely IMHO released SH4) have always been not only great fun but also source of a thrill for me. I used to play them for years and with time discovered that they were a lot more complicated than I originally thought. And that felt good...
Right now, after being a bit dissapointed with the Wolves Of The Pacific I am in the middle of the German Campaign in my VIIC. I run Silent Hunter 3 patched to 1.4 and with GWX on top. My questions are:
- Do the destroyesrs have a limited number of depth charges on board? If yes than where can I find some info on this topic?
- What is the minimum distance for a torpedo to arm it's warhead? Do all the torpedos have the same arming distance?
- Will sending one ping to determine my sub's depth under keel attract a nearby destroyer in passive search mode? Does AI hear this at all?
Hopefully, Your answers will make the Silen Hunter 3 even "deeper" and more "rich" in content...
Cheers!
