I get back to Pearl, watch a cut scene dramatizing the Japanese attack on Port Moresby and the intention to 'form a ring of submarines around the attack area, who knows, maybe one of our subs will get a shot at a Jap flattop' says the commentary........OH thinks I, that will be sweet. So I load up my sub with evil Mk 14's, promote as many crew as I can to make 'em perform better, go to my 'office' to get my orders and........................get sent to patrol off Honshu again........so as I say, you have to laugh or you'd but your boot through your monitor....

Don't think the Subs in Pearl had much of a chance to change the course of history. If you weren't already outside of Pearl before the attack, you weren't going to be fast enough or have enough info to chase the enemy...........Merely my opinion
