It adds improved harbour traffic, imprved shipping traffic, improved air cover, alot of visual things. Its like GWX if you didn't get obcessive over historical detail. Its far from an arcade mod however so far as I can tell.

I don't think I could explain the difference in one post really. Its a matter of taste I think. Its a taste and see what you prefer situation.

There is a manual in the works. Also there are links to the version history, features, screens and jazz from http://mysh3.info/WAC site. I think War Ace Campaign has developed into a real decent supermod, a good alternative to keep our game alive it makes sence to have. I agree to if someone is interested it's better to try it. Efforts are being made to improve the mods d/l availability.

My mod basically deals about historical events which are steadily improved and added.
But many mods of the Sh3 communities are implemented.
Just ask for anything and I´ll answer.

Know what you WAC guys need more than anything? A mission statement. One paragraph that tells newbs "no we aren't compatible with GWX. Yes we are different. This is what we aim to do and this is why you should play WAC."

Just wanted to say that I have successfully downloaded WAC. However, except for trying some small single mods and SH3 Commander, I have just been learning with the stock game for the moment.

I assume that it would be best to get up to speed on the stock game first before moving on to the super-mods, correct?

i just installed WAC OVER GWX and it works good... for now... :rock:
im on a mission right now and if i can make it back home (whitout any game crashes) il say it IS compatible with GWX


done my first GWX+WAC mission and saw my first convoy (was russian) and let them go...
second little convoy was brittish and i opened fire.

i have to say it worked perfect...
so my conclusion is GWX and WAC can be used together

There are alot of things that happen in these mods and alot of files that need to be lined up. Things will work but I don't think that you can guarentee it indefinitely.

The stock game is indeed easier to learn from. However one thing that we all noticed in the growth of the realism mods is that alot of people would complain "its too hard". What that really meant was "we are used to nerfed enemy AI and find things challenging now, however we lack perspective and are whining".

So if you want to practice with the stock game just be careful that you don't learn alot of bad skills from it.

best way to learn from those big mods is the U-boat training...
play it 10 times or so and then you will be able to go on a real hunt :up:

doe's someone know what was going on in april 1940 ? willemshaven is one big pile of ships who are going in convoys to somwhere escorted by all kinds of Kriegsmarine ships (even U-boats)
