OMG!! HELP!! I cannot get orders for a new mission ( GWX )

so I finished my 12th mission and I am trying to start a new one.. I cannot click the u boat screen or the desk ( Where it shows my awards and stuff ) I start mission and my orders are blank..

Whats going on ?? I am so mad right now!!

I docked back at Kiel like I always do.

Ah. Well one feature in GWX is that you can resupply at a Milk Cow or resupply tanker in different parts of the world. The way it works is that you end your mission by docking with them but when you start your patrol again it gives you a null patrol grid.

Thats what I was considering.

As for it being from Kiel, well I have no clue.

Are you using SH3 Commander by any chance?

Also while on your last mission your home base could have been changed to one of the French bases. You would have been notified of this by radio message. IIRC the 7th Flottille moves from Kiel to St. Nazaire in August/September 1941.

Yep sounds like you at the wrong port
When you start your mission on the loading page does it say somethig lile

Start base Kiel
Patrol grid NULL
End base xxxxxx

If there is another port name wher I put xxxxx then thats the port you should be in

I docked at Kiel, and it tells me about grid is Null...


I just checked, it says my new base is Brest..
So I am leaving Kiel and going to Brest ??

Yep, I got switched to St. Nazaire after my 10th patrol. Looking forward to hounding the Atlantic properly :)

If you have docked at port after your base has been changed, which I suspect is what has happened, take a note of your last save point before that patrol.

I personally have experienced a bug where you get constant 'Base has been changed to......' messages when reloading your saved career. Although, I was at Wilhelmshaven.

There are 2 ways to clear this message, first is to reload your patrol in which your base was changed, conduct your patrol but return to your NEW base, the second is to start a new career, edit your renown etc and start at your new base in the correct year.

The first option is easiest.
