How do I go about refueling with a milk cow?

Just pull up next to her hit escape and end your patrol. Select "Dock at <Insert name of milch cow here>" and then just start your next patrol fully fuelled and rearmed. You will then have a NULL patrol grid so you can go where you like and try to make it back to your home port.

You only need to be within a relatively small distance from the location. I can't remember the distance, but I think it's somewhere under 5k, then do as the previous poster said. Just remember that you need to be able to see the "dock at" option and not "return to port". So if you don't see said option then you need to get closer and try again.

Thanks guys. Milk Cows are the black ships you see on your map, correct? (I have all other icons turned off).

Milk Cows apear as harbours (blue icons for the Germans) in the middle of the Ocean. Press F1 During game and check the resuply dates and the area where they are stationed.

So heres the deal, im out in grid BF14 right now (just sunk a small merchant for 2374 tonnes) and I'm almost 50% through my fuel. I need to get back to Kiel. I see no milch cows anywhere. What am I supposed to do? It's September 12, 1939 and I see no resupply dates in the near future. Any suggestions?

:o you can easily make it with that ammount of fuel:o
just put your speed to 8 knots (most range at this speed) and start sailing

All the way back around Britain?

yea

cause if you're sailing a VIIB (wich your sig says)
and you have around 50% fuel left
you should have a good 11000 kms left or around there

It's a long trip via the Fair Isle Passage but if you don't burn your fuel at high speeds at 8 knots you will have over 20% of your fuel remaining when you get home..

Milk Cows start operations at 1940 in Spain (Cadiz and Vigo) and from 1941 in the Atlantic. Until then you will have to go back to base to refuell.
