On second thought, guns are so uncivilized.

Nothing says civilized like being able to dismember AND cauterize in the same move.

May I suggest Deadhunt. Kill the undead. You got your shotgun, your automatic, etc and all the zombies you can kill.

If you can lift and fire it easily, it's no real gun! ;)
I wish I could find a good sound recording of one of these.
Boom! Luftwaffe's Mk108 cannon 1940s

Letum,
Is that the cannon the BF-109E was firing through its propellor hub during the BoB?
Tchocky

That was an MG FF I think, waste.
MK 108 was the Me 262.
Letum,
Is that the cannon the BF-109E was firing through its propellor hub during the BoB?
no, usualy that was a 20mm cannon, but some where fitted with mk108s in the prop hub and on wing mounts after the battle of britian.
*edit*
Not on the E version tho, the Bf109 E "emil" has no nose cannon.

I always thought the emil had the nose cannon. Later versions dropped the nose cannon because it became a hassle.
Ya see what one can learn!?

from Grandpa!!!
That is a cool weapon Mike.
My grandpa has said a few times that he has a gun. I'm not sure if its true. If it is I wonder what it could be.
Maybe its that 1911 Colt that he allegedly "relieved" an American of in WW2.:hmm:

42 ammunition is too cumbersome. You get cylinders with a 34 :P

This thread is for people to discuss and point to their favorite firearms and/or just be silly. It is not authorized for political discussion. This: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=109983 is the thread for political discussion of firearms and the gun lobby. It will re-open in 10 and 1/2 hours from the time of this post. Please question America's sanity in that thread, but do so respectfully.
Also, remember that this is an internet forum, specifically one dedicated to submarines and submarine simulations. The world will not be changed here, and we need no pretences in that regard.
Thank you,

Mate, about half the people posting on the thread are non-American, like myself and well, look at the other posters locations yourself. :shifty:
How many people die in Iraq, Columbia (remember that?) Congo, or Southeast Asis each month by guns???

Agreed. This thread is in no way related to current events. If people continued on that thought line, pretty much every subject dicussed would be barred because of some vague relation to an incident.
Dont get me wrong, VT was a tragedy, but relating it to every discussion about firearms isnt the way to go on.

Well, the 34' could run on belts and the 42' could run on cylinders.
The 34' was unreliable, slow firing, expensive to produce and no where near as versatile as the '42 which was used for everything you can think of and continues to be used today!
Common guys! Does anyone have a good MG3 about? :D

Fair. But why had this topic to be started two days after the VT incident?

 :o
Well ... I prefer big, loud, heavy, personal, weapons that requires a man to fire...and a second man to tote the ammo for him.
OOOHH! YEAH BABY! when the trigger is squeezed the ground shakes... it causes fear in the enemy... people loose control of their bowels (well the enemy people that is)
Ain't nothin better than killing the enemy before they kill you...and scaring the crap out of 'em...
I just hope when waste gate is prez. he lets me rampage with what I need
Have no fear... if you are not an enemy of America yooou will be safe.

No, why would you need it?
The first shot allways follows true, however many follow it.

By the Germans or from the Germans?
The MP 18 was produced 1918 to 1920s...
I'm not sure, my wikipedia skills are a little grey in this area - it's hard to tell if the reference is to the copying of the machinegun design itself or the magaine drum/box fitting.
