Possible hack or spam

I received this early this morning. I am submitting a condensed version of the message.

Subj:forum updates will be attempting to update the forums so will shut down the forums on 4/20 and come back up again 4/21. So if you can't get on it is not your fault.
This is a short version of the e-mail, I never received one before and it made me suspicious, I never opened it.
