I stumbled upon this nice gallery of a modern "Wolf pack" in Bergen with pictures of German U-boats U-31 to U-34 of the new type 212 class and other boats, perhaps visiting during some NATO-operation(?) (maybe someone knows more about this event). It’s a rather interesting scenario though, in contrast to that during WWII when the Germans used Bergen as an occupied port.

Enjoy! :)

Edit: Actually the pictures seems to be taken on somewhat different dates/occasions in Bergen.

Nice photos.
Remeber me a very nice work trip here at the Nansen Center.
Bergen is a very beautifull city and people are lovely but to prices are too expensive for normal people (even in a Mc Donald)

It strikes me how MUCH that area looks like NW Oregon. Astoria, specifically, although certainly some of Portland there, too.

Interesting! Nice boats, too. I imagine the last time U-Boats were operating out of Bergen, Norway, the Norwegians hardly expected they'd ever invite them back! :rotfl:
