Actually thats an awsome idea.

It would be great to be able to post a pic of a loved one inside the cabin.

I'm not looking for out-and-out porn, but this level of suggestiveness would be the kind of thing I think we'd see on a real WW2 submarine.

If anyone knows of any internet sites with this sort of pin-up, please let me know.

I'm putting the mod together. I'm trying to get just the right mix - postcards and posters that would be seen pinned up by on a real 1940s sub, but also not beyond what people might expect to see when sunbathing at the beach. I don't think it will be a problem to meet both requirements and make our subs a bit more realistic in this regard. Personally I feel that the game's stock pin-ups are a bit too tame - they look more like toothpaste commercials than pin-up girls.

Somebody did a huge collection of pinups for SH3. They were fun. Included a lot of the ones here, which I didn't use because they weren't German. Here they'll be very usefull.

If you mean the interior of the conning tower (not the bridge), you can still access it. From the control room, place the free camera just in front of the navigators face, at the same height, looking at him, and then move straight in that direction, through the equipment in the control room and then the bulkhead, until you arrive in the conning tower.

I generally use the door, but this is easier to explain :D

Those lights are dynamically generated - can't be fixed by me. Some subs have the obstruction that's casting the shadow, others don't. There is an unobstructed view in the conning tower, but since patch 1.2 arsed-up the free view in the conning tower it's harder to see. The image in the hallway can't be viewed in full unless we get the ability to move around the office - anyway it's pretty low res.

The gal is a young Barbara Stanwyk - in these early photos I think she looks a lot like Jennifer Jason Leigh.
