First of all i'll say thanks to Shad my graphix anomalies have all gone by uninstalling sh4 (saves aswell) and reinstalling 1.2 WITHOUT installing 1.1  Hope this helps others who havnt tried this option.
Problem now is i'm trying to edit my main.cfg to change the dev debug settings to No, but when i click save it says i cant save to that path or file name, it will only let me save as a txt file or all files, i'm sure before i used to click save and that was it, surely if i save it as txt file it will no longer be a cfg file - or am wrong - or will saving as all files do the trick :hmm: am running vista 32bit :damn: any1 have any ideas on this?

Check and make sure the patch didn't change main.cfg to a read only file. The .cfg files ARE text files. If that still doesn't work, just save it as main.txt then rename it to main.cfg, however you will need the folder option "hide extensions for known file types" to be unchecked for this to work.
