Hi All :D

I hope the title says it all. What we need is contests to make our clubhouse more fun "SUBSIM". But you can't expect "Onkel Neil" to do it all by himself. I can understand with exchange rates and some without access to plastic that donations are hard to do for some. But swapmeets and military surplus around, the kool stuff sent to Neal for prizes would be great prizes for "essays, stories, best mods, best missions and so much more. And this neat stuff comes from around the world. Dig deep or use your imagination on something kool and lets support "OUR"
Clubhouse and have alot of fun.

Good idea! All those awesome prizes cost a lot of $$$$$.

I have a few plastic ship/submarine models, some build painted and mounted, some not. Other than that I will have to keep an eye out at the surplus stores etc.

I still think we have them quite regularly. Neal does a good job with these. Sure, more would be fun, but someone's got to run them.

On second thought, it may be more prudent (for me, at least) to just donate cash directly to the maintanence of the site.

Thx Fatty and CCIP for responding. There's alot of kool stuff that's laying around our own homes. Models ,plastic subs that use bakeing soda to submerge and surface. If you have two of something it will make a great prize for other members to add to collections. Used extra classic subsim games and books in good condition that we have extra collecting dust are a another members new treasures. I have already boxed up a few I think really good things to get the ball rolling and am going to send them off to Neal if this is a happening for all the members. :)
