Hi,

How do I target specific parts of the ship with the UZO/Attack Periscope? Every time I lock onto a target, the triangle is fixed on midship and the torpedo always hits there.

You have to "manually" target the ship, u have to do the math yourself, angle at the bow stuff, the Pie times the Radius thing and the shineing of the Torpedo thing. Lots of work. But if u like it do it, Just select manual targeting, its a challenge then the ship is moving but its real easy to do when its just sitting there.

To aim at different part of a ship follow the instructions:
1. Put the cross of your scope on the part of the ship you want to hit (DO NOT use the Lock)
2. Open Tube Doors
3. Identify the target (manually or not makes no difference)
4. Calculate the solution (manually or not makes no difference)
5. Fire (the torpedo will hit on the part of the ship the cross of the scope/UZO is at the time you fire.

I hope it helps. If you need more explanations give us a shout.

Welcome aboard kaleun Ham.....wherever you put the crosshairs is where your torpedo is in effect aimed at :arrgh!:

To target certain parts of a ship I personally ignore the note pad and manually insert a firing solution into the TDC that is valid when the ship crosses my bow at a certain bearing. Then you place your crosshairs over that bearing and wait for your specific target to align with the bearing and hit the fire button.

edit: make sure to remember to open the torpedo tube:damn:
