User Made Battle Flags

Are you like me; SH obsessed? Too much time on your hands? Rudimentary photoshop sKiLlZ? Then you might have made a battle flag for your boat. Here is my first one after completing my first career. I'm soooo glad I got the Stingray...makes me wish there was a "Gerry Anderson Jumpsuit for Crew" mod. :88)

I guess Im a dork then as well, I've been using "shad" as an online name for years
and recently discovered that this was an actual boats name! So I went a downloaded the boats patch and printed it out and put it up on the wall above my monitor...
needless to say the wife thinks Im a dork :up:

Yup, know the feeling. At the threat of hijacking my own thread, nothing has had embarassed me more than my girlfriend coming home and catching me deep into plotting a torpedo attack on a convoy in SH3 while watching Das Boot... in retrospect it made me wish it had the "emergency 'A' key system crash" feature the pre-1.2 SH4 had. At least I wasn't playing Oblivion I guess:oops: Or wearing a white topped kriegsmarine hat.

Wow, LOL!

I have my own little battle flag of sorts in my sig. Since my ship didnt ever create their own (the ship was lost late '43) I just took the patch and centered it.

I may overestimate myself - but I think a lot of people adopted my sig format for the battle flags.

Great idea though, whoever is to blame :D
