CTD when hitting "A" key - every time

heyas, all -

I have the game patched to 1.1 and every time I hit the "A" key (maintain depth), the game crashes.:damn:

I couldn't find any posts with similar problems, which is sad, but I'm hoping someone else has at least heard of this or a similar issue.

I haven't even gotten to run a mission yet. :cry:

Has anyone experienced or heard of this or this type of issue?

yup. It is posted in the 1.1 bugs thread stickied at the top. In the SH4 mods forum there is a fix for it. patch 1.2 is slated to fix the issue, which should be here soon.

Open the file sh4\data\menu\menu.txt and change the line

1029=Current depth %.0f %s

to

1029=Current depth %.0f feet


Voila, A key works as intended.

ALT F4 works well for that too, I found out the hard way, goodbye patrol :)
