Stop Auto Crew positions?

Is there a way to keep the game from putting crew at the helm automaticly as well as on the bridge, I think it is a little unreal that you can't have a clear bridge. I mean what if you just want to sit on the bottom during a storm and alloe the crew to rest a bit? I'm sure it has happened.

I don't think it would happen to have an empty command room, and deffinitely not have all crew go to sleep while submerged. Maintaining the depth level underwater is quite a complex task that requires constant attention. If you leave a sub on its own devices it will fairly quickly either surface or take the Bernard way...:88)

I agree with you to a point though subs are known to sit on the bottom. Nevertheless is there a way ?
