Drool....:o

I'll have to look a little harder at the vids and see how hard it actually is to make.:hmm: Will be a bugger to polish though.

I think you have to make one by yourself. ;)

Well, It looks fairly simple (metal work side) only 2 power tools are required. Bench saw to cut your brass and a pillar/powerdrill, other than that most of the work can be done with jigsaws and files.

On the otherhand, if you have problems working in metal and you can draw well enough with a scale then just produce a set of drawings (like in the link) and see if a metal shop will make them for you. If you did it this way the metal work will definately cost you less than a new keyboard.

Hehe, I might see if I can blag my dad into making the metal bits for me.:hmm: He's retired and needs something to do anyway.:arrgh!:

EDIT - It seems the hardest thing is to find the right kind of keys.:damn: It seems they've all been pinched for bloody jewelry!!!!

Wow. Thats just beautiful. The actual metalwork doesn't look that hard. I just don't think I'll be able to afford a table saw that can cut through half inch brass for a long time.

Know what would be a wicked project? Turning an old typewriter INTO the actual keyboard. It would be so wicked. Instead of hearing "clack clack", you'd hear "click click".:hmm:... :rotfl:

Too Cool!!! Maybe someday they can make a hydrophone console as well.. Use an old video game steering wheel or something...
