Totally agree. While I love the show, it needs to end soon! Who is going to show up next on the island? Gilligan and the Skipper? It seems to me that the writers are writing this as they go.:doh: ...and now they have a new character (chick from the helicopter), please, just end it before the show starts to suck.


Season six Lost:
While Hurley and Jack are still playing ping-pong, a plane crashes on the island containing the Harlem Globetrotters. They set up a basketball league on the island, when this twarted by Sawyer stealing the island's only basketball to sell for booze on a new island that has a liquor store.

On a previous episode (where locke blows up the sub), if I am not mistaken, the sub looked like a gato/balao class. (docked 10 meter from the beach :rotfl: ).

Indeed. I heard that the cast have contracts to up to 6 seasons. I really really really hope they wont continue the show that long! It is already very boring, but with 3 seasons still to come we are beginning to see episodes like "Hurley goes fishing", "Sawyer and the lost toilet paper collection", "Jin learns english" or "Charlie makes dinner". :nope:

Lost should've ended on Season 2. I accepted Season 3 in good will but they better make this one the last. The series is running out of steam. What used to be condensed and solved in one or two episodes now is overextended in three or four. What used to be overwhelming and very demanding on your attention and memory now is simple and obvious. If once it was fun trying to figure out the plot in advance now it's getting duller by the episode as the misguiding tricks are loosing effect after being abused so much and for so long.

This series was a gem and would finish as a gem had it ended on Season 2 or 3. But if they push it even longer it will loose its special character and become a new Gilligan's Island, Lost in Space, Land of the Giants, etc.

I watched a couple of episodes early on in the first series, but found it just fell flat on it's face rather quickly. I'm sure it has it's merits, but it's like the producers are just making it up as they go along.
I've tried since to get to grips with it; but it's one of those shows that if you've not been an avid viewer for the last 2 years or whatever, then you stand next to no chance of understanding the rubbishy storyline of 'who's who & why are they so mysterious?'

I'd rather watch re-runs of the Xfiles... Gillian Anderson mmmmmmm /shameless leering.

Um, if you miss a second of LOST, you probably need to start all over (http://lostpedia.com/wiki/The_Beginning_of_the_End). This show has more stuff packed into the margins and corners than ANY show, play, or film (and most books) I've ever experienced. Now, how much of that stuff is relevant (http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Golden_Pontiac), and how much is gee whizz, I dunno. But it show is cool!

While playing horse (basketball game) with Hurley, Jack gets the letters "H" and "O". "H" is the 8th letter of the alphabet and "O" is the 15th - 815

Behind Hurley as he’s freaking out over Abbadon there’s a small sculpture of the letters ‘HO’ on a shelf.
Hurley mentions Charlie’s ghost showing up in the convenience store right next to the "Ho Ho's”.

A much more in control Jack than seen in Through the Looking Glass (http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Through_the_Looking_Glass) visits Hurley and plays a game (http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Game) of horse (http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Horse) with him. The two begin the game talking about being noticed frequently. Jack says the reporters are leaving him alone and only gets asked for autographs while buying coffee. He also mentions to Hurley that he's thinking of growing a beard. Hurley is glad to see him but wonders why he came. Jack, after losing a few shots to Hurley, asks if he is "going to tell." Hurley doesn't respond. Jack decides to leave and grabs his coat. Hurley says he's sorry he went with Locke (http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Locke), and that he should have gone with Jack instead, but Jack says that it's not an issue. Hurley wonders if they should go back to the Island and says "it" will do whatever it takes to bring them back. Season 7:
Kate plots to meet this mystery Finnish man, known only as "The Ferret" locked up in the bunker playing Il-2 1946.:cool: She sends in Hurley to the bunker to tell the Ferret that they found a new modding tool for Il-2, but he must go to the compound to retrieve it. Sawyer gets wind of the plan and races to the compound first. The Ferret enters a dark room, where he sees a single light shining on a CD. The Ferret goes to pick the disk up when the light is switched on: Sawyer!

Flashback scene:

Dowly wakes up from a drunken stooper behind the couch, face down next to an empty bottle of cheap Serbian vodka. He looks up at his computer and sees the recent air to air carnage score in the subsim bi-plane challenge...

...meanwhile...

A new submarine surfaces off the beach... A German u-boat!:cool: Jack, who was fired from Wal-mart after trying to unionize the pharmacy, and Sayid paddle out on a raft to the u-boat. The hatch hisses and pops open...a short half boston terrier half man creature climbs out of the sub.

Jack says: "What the hell are you?"

The mystery man answers: I'm niki mbcee and I'm here for the subsim conference. Neal, you sure look different.

Jack: "I'm not Neal. Who's Neal?"

Mcbee: "This isn't Houston? Where am I then? I was playing SH3 for 36 hours straight when I had to go to the bathroom."

Sayid: "Dude, you're on Lost."

McBee: "Lost? No, $hit! I gotta met Dowly, he's here to?"

Sayid: "You know the Ferret?"

McBee: "Not really, but I tried to help rescue him when he was in the brig:roll: ."

Jack: "We will take you to him."

They paddle back to the beach where Juliet is. She finds herself strangly attracted to this newcomer to the island. She plots a plan to met this "McBee." Juliet, high on pheremones, digs around in her hut and puts several items in a backpack: Scented Candles, blind fold, message oil, and a towel. She quiety sneaks over to Mcbee's hut, where he is tied up to a palm tree.

Tonight on LOST...

Sawyer: "STAY away from Kate, she's my woman. It's bad enough with the Doc chasin' her, now you- No WAY!"

Dowly: "What the Feck are you talking about?"

Sawyer: "Oh, enough already Hampster. Dude, why are fightin' like the Three Stooges?"

Dowly: "It's the secret Finnish warrior way, how the hell do you think we beat the Russians in '40, with lutefisk?"* Why did you attack me, I just want the disk, I have no interest in Kate. My only love is Il-2 and dominating Kratos. I have no time for women."

(*program note: Finns don't actually fight like the 3 Stooges.)

Sawyer: "Really? Hampster, that's all you do is play Il-2. That's hardcore. Here's the disk, there's nothing on it. Fish biscuit?"



Back at the beach...
Jack: "Sayid, does Locke know about the new submarine? We gotta keep him away from it."

Sayid: " I don't think so. Ever since that paddle ball washed up on shore, he's been pretty busy."


Flash Forward:
CNN reporter: "Today, somewhere in the South Pacific, an urgent message was recieved from a sinking merchant ship, saying they had been torpedoed and sinking rapidly. The message was cut off before the location could be obtained. The Russians and Chinese have denied envolvment. President Pelosi stated that we have disolved our navy, so it wasn't us."


Hurley, with cable hooked up to his hut, sits and watches re-runs of Scooby Doo.
He mumbles to himself "Scooby, dude don't take the scooby snack, it's not worth it."

Suddenly, an image apears before Hurley. "Hurley. Hurley. You must find Locke. Degobah system, yoda, new submarine."

hurley freaks out. "I don't see dead people, you're not real....Charley, go away!"

Charley: "Would you go to Locke for a Ho-Ho?"

Hurley: "Dude, no, you're dead! Dead dudes don't have real ho-hos."

Charley: "It's cream filled, plus, Locke has beer."

...Suddenly a second voice: "Who has beer?"

Juliet puts her tank top back :o :o :o on and runs out of the hut in tears. "That is so discusting."
Later that day, Juliet ponders to herself as she slowly walks in the surf; could she love someone who marks his territory. I could over look that....

A box brushes up against her foot. Juliet looks down; "What's this? Il-2 the 1952 Mig Alley missions add-on?"

Ya know, when this show premiered four seasons ago, I figured it was about people living on an island and coping with some kind of beast. Yes sir, I had it figured out :doh:

One thing I have been watching, the show has slipped into sci-fi. It had to, how else to explain all the weird stuff! Now they can easily explain the dead people, the smoke monster, Jacob, etc with paranormal answers, we're going along with time travel, why not?

as Richard said in the first episode of 5th season "it's a lot to swallow". And for me to border line has just been crossed. It was the first episode(I've seen all)that made me bored after 20 minutes and I had to postpone watching untill the next day. All this "moving the island, being cured after getting a bullet" could be acceptable on the condition that it doesn't appear every minute. The area that they entered of total S-F has nothing to do with the climate of seasons 1-3. They got the climate of mystery by not-reavealing several things but now if you don't understand sth it's "voila"-time travel, etc.

I enjoy the show, but I think the plot is just silly at this point.:roll: I think they have dice with plot points and names, then they roll them and that is the next episode.

Tonite on Lost:

Lost has always had some awesome story telling, but with the latest nudge into fantasy, which I feel was inevitable with the way the story painted itself into a corner, the writers will have their work cut out for them.

Lost and 24 are the only two shows that I watch. I love lost because of the great character development and interactions. I also love the whole time travel concept and it's fantastical implications. Each week always seems to make me shake my head and say "Damn I didn't see that coming". Which is why I think I like the show the most, because I can usually predict other show's plots and twists. So far I really digging this season already. It's like each show is a mini cliff hanger.

Episode 95: Dowly (who crashed on the island back in episode 70, after playing IL-2 late one night) shows Hurley how to mod Silent Hunter 6 Wolves of the Baltic. They discover a Wal-mart on the north side of the island, where Jack now practices medicine. They vote on building a mass-transit system between Sawyer's hut and Kate's hut, but it goes down to destruction when Gilligan accidentally eats the design. Skipper hits Gilligan over the head with his hat, and is turned over to a new group of "others" for thearapy.
Skipper comes back from therapy, looking like Anna-Nicole Smith.

Dowly: "It's the secret Finnish warrior way, how the hell do you think we beat the Russians in '40, with lutefisk?"* Why did you attack me, I just want the disk, I have no interest in Kate. My only love is Il-2 and dominating Kratos. I have no time for women."

(*program note: Finns don't actually fight like the 3 Stooges.)

Sawyer: "Really? Hampster, that's all you do is play Il-2. That's hardcore. Here's the disk, there's nothing on it. Fish biscuit?"



Back at the beach...
Jack: "Sayid, does Locke know about the new submarine? We gotta keep him away from it."

Flash Forward:
CNN reporter: "Today, somewhere in the South Pacific, an urgent message was recieved from a sinking merchant ship, saying they had been torpedoed and sinking rapidly. The message was cut off before the location could be obtained. The Russians and Chinese have denied envolvment. President Pelosi stated that we have disolved our navy, so it wasn't us."


Hurley, with cable hooked up to his hut, sits and watches re-runs of Scooby Doo.
He mumbles to himself "Scooby, dude don't take the scooby snack, it's not worth it."

Suddenly, an image apears before Hurley. "Hurley. Hurley. You must find Locke. Degobah system, yoda, new submarine."

hurley freaks out. "I don't see dead people, you're not real....Charley, go away!"

Charley: "Would you go to Locke for a Ho-Ho?"
