I keep reading conflicting things on supported operating systems. The predominant list I've seen is that Windows 2000 is not supported.

Does it not run/install on Windows 2000, or does Ubi simply not guarantee that it will work properly. Anyone successfully running SH4 with windows 2000?

LOL, yeah I know. I'll get around to it eventually. XP still isn't cheap these days.

I confirm that it does work on W2K but with the same bugs as those who run it on XP :lol:

Both out-of-the-box and patched-with-1.02 versions work with W2000 + SP4. Bought SH4 without reading the info on the box, only read this later and discovering that W2000 is not a supported OS. Decided to try it anyway and it worked after installing the DirectX 9 and Media codecs on the DVD. It would NOT run with my earlier versions, su updating with the files on the DVD is definitely a must.
