If I were a millionaire, I would built a TV team, start a reality show and then spend my time and money on mercilessly find them, hunt them down, and sue them if they do not pay me the prize they admit I have won.

In Germany or Austria, a women did like that three or four years ago (without the TV part). She also received a letter that she had won and was assured that she won, and when she wanted to claim the prize - silence. She then went to courts, and finally won. It was about a one-family house and ground, worth 500.000 Euro. Next she had private investigators chasing the gangsters who started it in the Caribean, and there started to make their identity known in that part of the world, too. Last thing I learned was that they finally gave up and payed her that damn house just to be let alone.

but it was a long chase and a hot battle until there. Most people probably can't afford that, neither in money nor in nerves. Nevertheless such defrauders deserve to be chased down - not by private persons, but by police.

Linton all my ones come from the UK, to date not one of them came from over seas but saying that I would not be surprised if they operated over seas. I was thinking of sending them a rude email but then again is it worth it.

I have been fortunate. I have had my current email address for about 6 years and never have received a scam email. I suddenly started getting junk email about 4 months ago though, despite taking precautions.
