Ow. I had 'Slaughterhouse Five' on my reading list for ages now, based on many many recommendations from friends. A shame I will only read it after the author has passed on now :(

By all accounts I've heard, a fine writer.

God bless him? I think they'll have to kiss and make up first.

"I know why I will become bitter. I will finally realize that I have had it right all along: that I will not see God, that there is no heaven or Judgement Day."
- Kurt Vonnegut Jr.

That brings back memories. We red him at school in English special course.

Read Slaughterhouse Five, and see the movie, if nothing else. "My name is Billy Pilgrim, and I've come unstuck in time".
