Hi,

I'm using GWX 1.03 since a while now and used the possibility to refuel in Vigo.
Strange thing happened, refueling took me a whole month...
So i looked it up on this forum and found out that SH3-commander has a solution for this.
Does anyone know if there will be a patch for this in GWX itself?
Or do i have to change to SH3-commander?
I'm not sure which files/mods i should install or deinstall to use SH3-commander in combination with GWX without having compatibility problems...

Can someone tell me more about this?
And where can i find more mods that are compatible with GWX?
(and which mods are really nice to install?)

Thanks and good hunting!

Sh3Commander is a stand alone mod that runs with any install
If you are using GWX you will need the additional SH3commander files - below my sig

You can install commander anytime though I recommend while in port

As to GWX compatable mods well most releases will say whether they are for GWX or not and there are simply too many to mention

Have a look in the mods forum

If you dont want to use SH3commander - and I cant think of any reason you wouldnt - you can alter the basic cfg to change the days in base before you sail if you know you are going to visit a resupply
Dont forget to change it back before your next patrol when returning home

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

Basic.cfg

[TIME]
TransferFlotilla=1
NbDaysInBase=31 <-------- change to 1
NbPatrolsInFlotilla=3
NbMonthsInFlotilla=6

I just got SH3 Commander the other day. I'm using GWX v1.02 so I don't need the additional files, but it's worth having just for the 1 day away from base resupply.

All you have to do is install it. Then you use sh3 commander to start the SH3 game. You don't have to change anything if you don't want to, but SH3 commander automatically knows if you are resupplying at a foreign base and sets the time to 1 day. Plus it will build a partol log of all your exploits, including the names of the ships you sunk etc. Actually it does a lot more too.

The only slightly confusing bit might be the roll back question the SH3 commander asks when you exit the game, but if you don't plan to add any additional/separate mods in the future, just click no and go on with life. It's really easy. Go get it! That's an order!
