Lost small camera views [RESOLVED]

Hi all, been browsing for a few days. Nice site here!! Anyways, great to be here.....acquired SHIII in the bargain bin and really enjoyed it....a sub sim that really gets you into the feel and action of submarine warfare.

I was so impressed with SHIII that when I saw SH4 was out, had to add that to my collection. :)

Even with all the bugs I find SH4 quite entertaining and fun to play. I'm enjoying my patrols and sinking enemy ships.

However, in campaign mode I've lost those little "automatic" camera views that used to come on by themselves....ie, u fire a torp and a little screen would come on in the lower left on your monitor showing your boat firing the torp. It would go away for abit, but come back just before torp impact, and if depth charged would come on showing your boat....etc.

So my stupid question for the day (hehe) how do u get those back, I've hit the / button, V button.....can't get those little screens back.

Well thats a sneaky one.

Next time you end your patrol in port, to the left in the briefing room is a book shelf. Just mouse over the book untill u find options. The gameplay options must be changed inside the carreer for them to take effect when playing in that carreer.

I believe the checkbox you are looking for is called "Action camera"
