I destroyed 4 Jap planes without even trying

That's right. I just finished my first SH4 patrol, in an S-boat from Manila. Saw lots of Japanese planes and was depth-charged by them numerous times. My crew got lots of experience in crash dives.

Some of those IJN pilots were too enthusiastic... two search planes and three Zeros crashed into the ocean :up: .

I also spotted one Jap pilot in the water (gotta talk to my lookouts, their report was "Ship spotted, sir". :-? ). The pilot was standing in the water up to his knees, waving his arms at me. :o

yeah when i spot an aircraft i get "merchant spotted"!!!! also when the survivors are in the water they also appear as the merchant symbol :-?

Yeah i have seen happen twice two bombers diving dropping their bombs, then as they reach for the sky they hit each other & explode.

I tried to pick up a jap pilot but i didn't know how dont know if u can take prisoners they probably never did that sort of thing, but i wanted to interogate the basta&d:p

I don't think you get credit for the "kills" when they kill each other. I've had 'em drop bombs on one another and climb so steeply they appear to stall and crash right into the drink without firing a shot.
