About the NO DVD Patch thing..

I posted on that topic, but I guess I did bad because I mentioned a place to get one..

I WON'T DO IT, so mods please understand why I am posting this..

What I don't understand is you all want a no DVD patch, but there is a perfectly "LEGAL" site out there that allows you to do this, UBI SAID " Its legal since its from www.xxxxxxxxxxxx.com "

You all asked for it, and its provided. Why is it that the legal site is not allowed to be mentioned?

I took out the name of the site, I really hope subsim allows people to see this, as again its perfectly LEGAL.

There is a slight problem though, as you are not legaly allowed to modify the game's executable or dll files (or realy any files) according to most license agreements.

So there is a legal car wreck between that and the right to make a backup.

The reason why that site still exists is because the software companies arnt exactly eager to test just how legaly sound their licensing agreements actualy are, and since the site only provides means to circumvent the copy protection and not the actual games themselves they are left for the most part alone.

However all of this is irrelivant as here at Subsim we do not allow the discussion or linking to piracy related materials (including unofficial no cd patches) period.
