Help! This is Bernard speaking... I'm trapped in the closet of U-28. My comrades are outside and talk about a nice meal, but we are out of food. Strangely they have some forks with them and a big knife and they slobber and grin. :dead:

Your aim might be better if you're not reading while you pull the trigger.

:hmm: ........Ripleys Believe It or Not material:
This recipe resulted from an idyllic fishing trip in the Garonne. Bernard, the skipper, served up for dinner like this. I think nothing could bring out the delicious quality better than this simple saute with garlic and parsley.
Ingredients
25g/1oz plain flour, for dusting
For the persillade
10g/½oz peeled garlic
15g/½oz flatleaf parsley leaves
1 tbsp sunflower oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper
50g/1¾oz unsalted butter
To serve
lemon wedges
crusty bread
....:shifty:

So here's the cut down version, the crew of U-28 had a nice meal made of Bernard. On returning home another Bernard was posted to U-28 and the rest of the crew had there knives and forks on stand by.

I will say this once for the benefit of the new guy: We frown on resurrecting nine-year-old threads just to make a joke. It causes a considerable amount of clutter.

I actually meant to post that in the Humerous SHIII picture thread.
But I had this open in another tab, and got mixed up.
