Has anyone had a plane slam into your sub?

I was on patrol one day and this Zero was flying around my boat. Well, as the plane was making its diving run at my boat my flak gun gunner shot him down and I swear if my boat was a inch higher he would have taken out my control tower.

Then I came across a merchant ship and as my torps made contact with the ship my game CTD and I made up my mind in that I refuse to play the game again until the new patch.

Has anyone had a Jap plane crash into their sub?

Not yet, but I had a zero circle my sub then leave. I was like wtf did he just go back to report my position:rotfl: .

Even when it hits, it wont take your tower. I dont remember what plane it was but it was bigger than zero what crashed to my sub. It just bounced back to air atleast 10meters.

Anyway.. it gave me a good laugh. :p

Yep, just had one yesterday in the Sub School AA and gunnery mission. I was shooting at so many I didn't even see it coming but it slammed right into my stern and my whole screen was ablaze for a couple seconds. Since it was a training one, there were no casualties or damage. Later from the bridge view, I noticed a pilot treading water about 10 feet off of my port bow. I assume he was the one from the plane. Pretty neat.

Yes, I had a Japanese aircraft nose down right into my sub after I shot him up with AA. He went cartwheeling off my stern and my sub sank in approximately 30 seconds.

Yes, happened to me on my last patrol. I shot the plane and it crashed right on my deck. It was a spectacular show! When the plane made contact with my sub, it lost a wing and bounced of the deck. After a few seconds it was all over. But most of my men were injured and I had flooding in all compartments. The boat couldn't kept surfaced.

The boat was lost, but I and most of my men survived and got another sub on which we will be sailing soon.

Exactly - i fatally wounded it and it went kamakaze.

closest for me was the burning betty falling. hitting about 5yds from my con tower. lots of water shooting up, flames etc.. a few dead watchmen, periscope damage and AA gun gone. had to unpacked the spare 20mm :stare:

since i was just watching the my men shoot it down, i very much enjoyed the show.

came close one time but that was because they had a face full of my bullets. They went in right near my sub, hit the water, SKIPPED OVER, my stern, then settled in for a 3000ft plunge to the bottom. VEry cool! :rock:

I have a picture of a G4 Betty actually flying under water. THe pilot was trying to stear towards me to attack me but we was sinking. Stupidest thing I ever saw!

Had a plane smash into me. Two Bettys were coming at me off the port stern, I managed to take one out just as it was diving at me, while the other released its bombs far too early, missing me completely. As luck would have it, the plane I shot down slammed into the water a foot away from my sub, ramming it under the waterline. The entire stern section of the sub was totalled, and flooded faster than I could manage to repair it.

I sunk in about 1 minute and 15 seconds.

Yeah, I had a Betty smash me to pieces, hitting me dead on just aft of the control room near the engine room. Naturally, I sunk, but I started thinking, since the game models enemy sailors abandoning ship after you sink a freighter or destroyer or what have you, why can't we abandon our tubs if we're running on the surface and get sunk? Surely a command like that couldn't have been too difficult to put in. I'd love to see a mod like this in the future.

Yeah, that would be cool. I'm sure its not hard to mod that, but what do I know I know nothing about that stuff.
