unusual ship behavior

Was scanning the horizon wit the nocs and saw something bobbing quite a distance away. F12'd over to it, was a merchant. Not sinking (I hung around for a reasonable amount of time), just bobbing up and down.

I've seen this in shallow water where a vertical ship would touch bottom after being torpedoed.

I think this fellow been either sunk by AI sub or by heavy weather.

I've seen a destoryer do this... but then it went straight to the bottom.. he was coming in straight at my stern and my fish hit her square on the bows... she went upright then straight down in less than 20 seconds I'd say.

The odd one I've seen is Flower corvette's half submerged just floating.. not moving... I think they ran out of fuel or something.. anyone else seen this?
