Return to base in the Career game

Is there a return to base key as in SH3? I've just sunk a Kongo battleship, used up my forward torpedoes and it's a bit pointless to complete the mission. Also will they accept me back at base or will I just be regarded as a failure. :cry:

Thought I'd ask before I have to go through the "mission" of going back "manually". :-?

Only way to return to base, is to turn the boat around and set for it.
