Do you need to have the disk in the drive to run SH4? ? After installing and viewing the sim, I exited from the program and removed my disk from the drive. Later I attempted to open the program and received a text box that said "No disk inserted" and leads me to a website called SecurRom that instructed me to work-around this problem by going to the Start Menu, going to "Run" and to type "cmd"
and then at the prompt to type "dla disable e:" Where "e" is my CD-Rom drive.
When I do this, I received a response that "dla" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or a batch file.
What do I do now? I prurchased my program legally from Amazon, one would think you can run a program without a disk being in the drive once it's installed. The work-around doesn't seem to work. I'm running this on a Dell comuter with XP-Pro as my OS.
