Can we check actual target bearing to the TDC bearing perdictions? I assume the attack map is useless since it doesnt show the target on it on 100%...atleast from what I can tell, I could be wrong.
You can check the target bearing in the inner ring of your own ship dial (The outer one shows true bearing). The 12 o'clock fixed marker that indicates the exact point is missing (Though it's in the TDC graphics file:-? ...somehow did not get implemented finally) but anyway the bearing to target is always the exact top -12 o'clock- of you won ship dial (I placed in mine a vertical red mark I draw with a paint program so I can see it quicker). BUT BEWARE that currently targets on your port side will make the whole dial get stuck when hitting that 12 o'clock position -it's a well documented bug and the Devs are fixing it for the next patch-.

I will hold you to the word of this being fixed in next patch :)

They are working on it. This is a major bug IMHO because after all the TDC needs to work in a sub. If it does not then you are only skippering a fishing troller. It's like getting a fighter airplane game and your bullets shoot out the back of the wing.:shifty: Not to exciting.

But ... The TDC is working, its just that the dial doesn't correctly show the bearing for the port side targets.

so I assume a tick mark at the 12 oc position will be added too? Sweet

As someone else pointed out the TDC works OK, what is (partly) broken is the Position Keeper. However, in SH3 we never had a position keeper and got by - admittedly SH3 had a few other helper features not in SH4, but it's still workable.

Definitely workable. If I get my target speed down correctly I notice my PK set up picture does not change to what I see out of the scope. If my PK does not change to what I see, my torp will score.....as long as it is on slow...fast torp issue also. Anyway, I constantly update the PK until the PK is very close to what is actually happening outside my scope. Work good for me.:yep:

Nice! Is there somewhere we can download this 12oc thingy?

COOL
Not only the marker is now present, but also the mouse context help shows that directly
