Sniping aircraft with the deck gun!

I just shot down two large 4 engine bombers with my deck gun. The first one went down with a single shot, but it took two to get the second one.

Did the US sub fleet utilize their deck guns in an anti aircraft role?

Not to my knowledge. The only story I can recall about deck guns used for anti aircraft purposes was when the crew of U-242 shot down a Russian plane with the deck gun.
