When I sound the surface and bring the sub to the top, she wallows about from 15ft down to 40-50ft, this does not allow me to recharge batteries and takes forever to get her to stay on the top, this is during high seas and Im running the Gar class in early 42. Does anyone else have this problem or how do others get the sub to the top. { I have also tried setting the manual depth to 15ft along with using the 'S' key and both show the exact same results..it's getting really frustrating when I keep getting chased under by aircraft and then have these problems getting topside later at night! }
Edit Fixed: found out it was the Harder escorts mod that had changed the stock wave settings in the sim.cfg file causing the trouble, that and also the compressed air not working right. reset them to the stock settings of
[Mech]
Waves amplitude=0.20
Waves attenuation=0.75
and it now works, surfaces and recharges as it should :)
