U-680 will set sail from Trondheim on the 2nd of April 1945 on her 3rd war patrol. Our enemies close in from all directions and everyday German towns, cities, villages, and citizens awake under the shadows of foreign flags and men. There is naught for my boat and her small company to do but set sail once again for the Atlantic. There we will defend Deutschland... or die. I wish you all luck and it has been an honor to serve with you all. Fur Gott und Vaterland!

(BTW, I've been playing SH3 since it came out and I started at the beginning of the war and I've played dead is dead. Now after my 6th or 7th boat (can't remember) and a hard drive meltdown I've finally made it to the end of the war. I've never been more excited to start what has to be my last patrol. And then I can start all over again out WEST!)
Viel gluck, mein Freund!!! Bis bald.

Type VIIC with all the late war bells and whistles.
I sailed out of Trondheim and made my way out to the Atlantic where I opened my sealed orders. I was to sail to grid AE88 and conduct operations against the enemy. I figure it will take me a week, week and a half to make my way out there. I left her schnorkeling at 12 meters in medium seas, partly cloudy skies. We'll see what happens tonight. The current date is the 3rd of April, 1945

Perfect breeding stock for the Fourth Reich.
The war goes on. :shifty:
Find a nice quiet bay and sit out until Onkel Doenitz pulls up stumps and calls it a day. then sail over to the dutch coast and surrender nicely, set up a cafe in Amdersdam and pretend you are Dutch for the rest of your life.:rotfl:
