This was brought up in another thread and wasn't answered. Doe's anyone know how it works? If it won't work could someone respond to this thread .

please dont tell me they left out the map notes again...I was just reading a thread about the same old save game bugs that SH3 had...Did they ever consider improving aspects of the game other than the bubbles and ripples in the water I wonder? those map notes are actually very handy and save alot of paper space and ink, not to mention eliminate confusion.

These are things that are in CAPS and right below title head :MAP TOOLS/ORDERS. If this doesn't work or is it another thing that was never
finished ? I know in time hopefully these things will be fixed but since I got
the bonus materials version they could of at least included a tube of
Preperation H. :rotfl:

I should think that Vaseline might be more appropriate:D :up:

Actually, I am enjoying most of the stuff in SH4 at this time. I and the deck gun are one......

I tried last night all kinds of ways to edit the marker text (as the manual says you can).

I hit CTRL + Left click on it, CTRL + Right click on it, SHIFT + Click, Right click only, Cross fingers + left click, toss salt over my shoulder....Nothing.

It's in the manual this time, but not in game yet.

Here's hoping to the 1.2 patch. Being able to insert text on the map is a huge feature for guys who do a lot of tracking, plotting and planning on the map.

Wow, I recently recieved SH4 and am kind of torked that there are still no map notes--even more so because the manual says you can have them--has anyone figured out how to use them, or was this feature not implemented at the time of release? If not, it must be patched PLEASE!!
