upgrade sub

does anybody else dislike the new way of upgrading ur sub, its just confusing because u don't know what the difference in the stuff like on the first patrol i put two different machine guns on and i didn't even know what the difference in performence was or anything else

i agree with you that information is lacking..i also do not like the way of upgrading, a better tool tip would be nice untill one gets the hang of what to do. [never played shIII either]

if i didnt know the difference already, i would be lost.

did you know that you have two "packed 20mm machine guns" laying on the floor in your sub?

I just finished my first full patrol last night and I have to say I don't like having to load my torps one by one back into my sub...there needs to be an easier way of doing this...

Also some specs on the difference between a Mk14 and an Mk10 would be nice.

if your AA gun ever gets destroyed, look to the far left on damage screen [it shows various pictures of parts and such] and scroll down, there is "unpack 20mm machine guns thingy" option down there. installs the guns to topside deck which can be manned by selecting man AA gun:yep:

How do you upgrade your sub? I'm in 1942 late now and still driving my old tub around and having to go to Midway all the time to get gas and torps due to all the damn duds they keep giving me! :ping:

I'm in the same boat (pun intended) I left Manila on Dec 9th '41 in my S-Boat and now into late May 42. No options for transfer, no options for tranferring to a new boat.

Unless I am missing some button or mouseover somewhere....

The phone on the desk will allow transfer but I can't find teh boat upgrade. I need more top tubs as thier are so many targets (I mean ships) to sink I keep running out and having to go to Midway all the time. Thier are so many ships dead between the home islands and Iwo Jima I can't fiqure out why they dont stop sinding more to thier death there? I can never get to may patrol area because I am out of fishies before I can get there.

Also, I get a FOX that I need to divert with all speed to Midway as Huge Japanese attack fleet is in route. I get there and I all I get our SHIPS, YES SHIPS!!! Flying at very fast speed and crashing on the runway. I went to outside view and its actually planes but friendly planes are spotted by RADAR as ships and enemy planes are listed as Aircraft. Funny ****z seeing sunk ship icons on the midway island runway and its really USN planes crashing in the island for some stupid reason. :hmm:

Every time I pick up the phone on the desk it responds with a note that transfer is not allowed at this time.

Maybe I should be going home to Pearl?
