Vanashing options?

I've downloaded GWX1.03 and I've finally got it and some skins and other mods running reliably,but a strange thing has occured!I've got 2 careers going on,my original which has taken me two jan 1944 in a type VII 41, so to test everything I'd thought I'd take her for a spin,eveything was fine until got a crash to desktop,so removed one of the larger mods(ship skins camo and stuff) and tried again,everthing was stable no problems,but in the options section of the u-boat room when I got back to port certain modifcations have vanished(no type VII42,only 2 options for radar, no emblem on conning tower,no anti-radar covering for me sub and something else which I cant remember)I loaded up my other career and a similar thing has happened,not as severe cause its only just 1940 and the options were limited anyway but emblems have certainly gone:cry: anybody have any ideas or has this happened to anyone else.If my chance of a type42MK7 has gone down the swanny what chance of anything else coming my way!:nope: OH the humanity:cry:

Did you change things around mid patrol? If so then that is probably your problem.

Also it sounds like you may have removed the mods that your boats were using ie: skins emblems ect.

Check and see if any of the mods removed were being used by your saved careers - it really could be that simple

Thats the strange thing robbo,mt puter was lacking in the umpth department so removing the skins for the ships(yearly camos)enabled the puter to cope,all the other ones are still installed.unlike normal where as the war progresses more options should be more available,I now have less:nope: no snorkel,no anti radar paint and a host of others.Nothing I've downloaded should have affected these things so I'm at a loss!all the improvements come on stream as the game progresses,even if you don't buy them they still stay on offer,but now it's getting worse:cry: I'm starting to think,is it normal to get to 1944 in the 7th flottila and never get a better boat than a type VIIC?in this game Ive never seen a bigger boat?is that normal for a u-boat man?

In all honesty I've never made it that far.

I have to say it doesn't sound good. You didn't say if you made these changes in port or not. Because if you didn't do them in port it might explain the corrupt saves you've got.

Also, does the game run ok if you load a new career?

Ram is a big issue with this game - although it really shouldn't effect your game in this way.

Hopefully someone will be along who can help more

robbo,all changes were made in port,I'm going to start another career and see how that goes,if the upgrades start to appear and then disappear like the others then I know I'm really stuffed:cry: Just wished I knew why its doing this,its driving me:damn: any idea what flottila's got typeIX boats first in the war?that way I can see if I can get past my typeVII curse.:yep:
