Hey guys, as you know, i started a thread concerning the empty edition that Ubisoft decided to provide for the Canada on the SH4 Ubisoft forum.

We need your support because JCC2003 and i wants to go on a war with this.

There`s no way that Canadians should accept this insult coming from Ubisoft after all the subventions they received from the governement of the Canada and Quebec with your taxes.

We want to let them know that we deserve the same treatment as the others...not more not less.

Unless they are giving us some very good explanations, we should not let this issue go under.

So, go on the Ubisoft forum of SH4 and let them know that we are not accepting that insult.

Thank you and have a great day.

Those forums are a REALY BIG font for me...dunno why they did that, but I have stopped reading them.
Not that Im canadian anyway, but I do support your cause, just because canadians talk funny doesnt mean they should be treated differently.
I feel sorry for them.

I am a huge fan of Silent Hunter. I spent many entertaining hours in SH3, and will do the same on SH4. In my opinion the SH staff have done a marvellous job in creating a very high quality product for the target purchaser.

Having said that, the manuals for SH3 and SH4 are the worst I have ever seen. The information is sparce and hard to follow. You cannot use the simulation with the information UBI provides. To have the manuals printed in colour would be like putting lipstick on a pig.:damn:

I rely on Forums and other sources of information generously provided by the community. I can't get too excited about Black and White manuals, even as provided, they are not worth the paper they are printed on.

I forget my password for that forum (my username was AG_124), but I'll either try to find it today or register again under a different name. I would be happy to sign an online petition as well, and am glad to hear this may be investigated.

I would sure like to hope it would make a difference.
I guess sometimes that is the Canadian way "to just put up with it". I suppose if enough people complain it might help. I will join the war effort. Thanks to a great community who I know will take up the slack and create a community made manual, community made Mods and patches and eventually re-create this game into a very satisfying experience.
The big companies depend on you.

For the record jcc2003 does NOT want to go to war with anyone.

jcc2003 still has faith that Ubisoft will do the right thing by their customers and recognizes that, as a big company, it sometimes takes a little bit of time for the information to get to the people who make the decisions.

jcc2003 is content to give them ample time to do what is right by Ubisofts Canadian friends.
