Anyone Completed Quick Mission Midway?
I sank the BB in thegroup and a DD and hit 2 carriers with a couple of torps, and a few misses. I had to sit until the air cover was gone and came back up. No one around, I start to pick up pilots. Blue box and when I get near "some" turn to chute icons and I pick them up. Usually very easy to see, but some of the boxes did not change I would sit the same distance as I did with the pilots I rescued, but there was nothing there.
I went round all of them about 30 and got about 10 to 12 pilots, I did it again the next day, and some of the box that I sailed to this time turned into chute icons , I rescued another 4 pilots. All the other blue boxe icon stayed that way and did not turn into chute icon, any way after a while they all disappeared and I headed back to MW.
Got there "refit" no docking? still mission is not complete? The refit fixed my AA and Deck guns, but as I was pulling out of MW, I get the message, AA gun is damaged? I turn back the mile or so and get it fix again in the refit. As soon as I pull out of MW, I get the same message again , AA gun damaged?? what gives?
And what do I have to do to complete the mission, if the US task force and Japanese one were still going at each other, then you would think you would get a report as where the japanese force was ?
