Any Order?

I've got the commander mod 2.7, GWX, and the 1.4 patch downloaded. Any particular order in which I install them or can I just run them and play the game?

get JSGME

* Clean install of SH3
* update to 1.4
* install GWX
* install GWX 1.03 update
* use JSGME for extra's etc.
* add SH3 Commander 2.7
* add Commander GWX update 1.02 (will work fine for 1.03)

(if you want to keep old careers, return to port and move your savegame map to another location on your drive. After installing you can move them back)

that about sums it...

In much the same way, I hadn't thought about SH3 in a while then SH4 came out. Now it's a visually stunning game but man how I missed the gameplay from SH3, so I dug out my old copy, updated it, and then found out about this whole grey wolves thing...

I installed that, SH3 commander, the date packs for ship skins, anything I could get my hands on. Started playing it, loved it. Played it three times that day (opening and closing the game) and this afternoon I tried to fire it up again, and now I CTD every time during the loading bar.

Being so new to GWX I don't know where to start to try solving it, but I want to play it again because it rox.

I think if there was a mod or whatever that brought SH4 to this standard, I wouldn't have to buy another game again. Ever.

Cause I'm a sucker for transparent water...


Any advice?

2 Gigs high speed ram
750 Gigs in 3x SATA 3gb/s
Intel Dual Core


Doubt it's my drivers or anything what with it running fine for so long, but dunno...


Oh and [edit...] I did put in the 1.2 SH3Commander config files like the big grey download page told me to.
