strange results after install of destroyer command

Ahoy, all!

After installing destroyer command with the 1.1 patch (using XP) the game runs but all the text flies around the screen during the game like a word jumble game. Anyone ever encountered this before? Any fixes?

I had that a while back with both SH2 and DC updating the nVidia graphic drivers fixed it for me.
