I noticed something odd in the last patrol I was on...I was actually 'sightseeing' some, and looked up at the sun.
Well...oddest thing, but it looks NOTHING like this picture (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=453739&postcount=279). It's just a small round blob of color with a very mild slight brightness increase in the vicinity. Nothing like the massive orb of fearsome glowing brightness in that screenshot.
Actually, the difference looks VERY much like how Sh3 looks when you turn off the bloom. That screenshot linked above, similarly, looks like Sh3's sun when the bloom is ON.
But, then, Sh4 can't USE FSAA (it's NEVER on), and I have it turned off in my CP to begin with.
So...?? What's the deal? All in-game sliders maxed, all effects 'on'.
