Damage Need Help Please

Had 6% damage on my AA guns, put repair crew on it & they did not do anything. How do I get them to repair something? Also had flodding on the sub & did not know how to stop it. What do I do?

It must be a bug. I had the same problem with the DC crew not repairing.

I also had leaks showing in the control room after i accidently surfaced near a merchant with a gun. he didnt hit me but I got the "leak" graphic. It does not show on the DC screen and it is still there 5 days later in the patrol. Saving and reloading doesnt get rid of it.

Check the manual - Damage control doesn't operate in SH4 like in SH3.

Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't bugs, but you may just be expecting something other than the game is doing - I was.

Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't bugs, but you may just be expecting something other than the game is doing - I was.

in the manual it shows a picture and it says how long each system is going to take to repair, I wish they would of implemented that, well that and like the 50 other things they wrote code for but never put in the game

I had to first go to crew screen and drag people to damage stations.

Then in the sub management window select Damage Control Team

Only then did the lazy sods start work.

Yep, it seems like there is no fast button for damage control and you have to drag each sailor into the damage control boxes.

I think it will be fixed in future patches

I used some renown and bought some extra crew to keep in the DC slots at all times. They will be greyed out in those slots until called up. That saves me from moving crew around during GQ.
