Wouldn't you think by at least the 40's that the sub bases would have sub pens built to house the submarines?
Rob

Thanks, so there were bunkers.
I'm playing SH3 Mel.
Why, does GWX have bunkers in it on the bases?

In GWX there are bunkers but if I remember correctly you cannot start a patrol from them. Something that will be corrected at some point I guess :hmm:

Sub pens/bunkers are all over the place in stock SHIII, the only problem is that they're always empty.
If I remember right, my very first patrol started in a bunker. I think it was before the 1.4 patch.

Well I made a few adjustments, and I just started my 11th patrol with U-245 which is a VIIC/42 from a bunker at Bergen. Neat looking.
