hello !

I just wandered if some of the more professional submariners around, or just more seasoned shall we say.................could explain what the eck is going on with my sonar station?

On Sh3, I used to move the dial around to various degrees and pick up contacts on them. In sh4 Its all rather different, I have a tool to ping, ok I understand that will be used to find the range of a target, but how the heck does one find a target at all? I only have the normal edition game, and not much is really mentioned in the manual. The radar apears to work mind, although i havent as yet seen any contacts on it.

Anyone ?:know:

Use the Home and End keys. The lever doesn't seem to work yet.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the lever was meant to be turned, just use the HOME and END keys; the lever turning is for visual effect. It's easier using the keys, too, imo.

cheers

Thanks anyway, i am sure others will wonder the same as i did.
sometimes our little windows of "playing time" is short, theres so much to take in with sh4. Im sure the keys are listed in the manual, just overlooked them....soh.

Sonar certainly works better now

next questions will be on the radar then:up:

It sure is meant to be turned as per the Manual.

Direction Handler: Left-click on the handler to change the listening direction.

The key reference jpg supplied in the game folder doesn't even mention the HOME and END keys. I had to find this out from one of you guys on the forum.
